TeamPages Gets Some Ink

Just stumbled upon this article from last year that we’d like to share with the TeamPages community.  TeamPages was ranked #13 on the Pick20 Web 2.0 list by KPMG and Backbone Magazine. The PICK20 Web 2.0 Award recognizes Canadian companies that are driving innovation and changing the way we use the Internet.

backbone logoThe judges explain their selection of TeamPages as follows:

Web site creation and management service for amateur sports teams

A solid niche product and “a great tool for quickly and simply creating a space for sports teams; it’s like a community centre 2.0 for the coaches and teams to drop into anytime,” Shende said. Napier added: “TeamPage’s solution has the specific features and functions to optimize team communication. With players and coaches using the site to post pictures, message team members and plan activities, it will be essential that the site continue to provide a high level of security to protect players’ privacy.”

But trust me, we’re not resting on our laurels. We have big plans for the rest of 2010 and beyond. Our team is relentlessly focused on giving your team the absolute best tools to keep your season running easy and smooth. We’re continuing to add features and tweak existing features to make TeamPages even better.

Most importantly, everything we do is based on your feedback. TeamPages is your tool, and this acknowledgment is a testament to the support, ideas and loyalty that our customers have shown.  Thanks for being part of the TeamPages Community.

About This Author

Derek grew up playing almost every sport under the sun; from baseball to football to triathlons and marathons, he did it all. Since then he's found himself coaching little league baseball, playing soccer for a local club and working here at TeamPages as a sales manager. Derek often writes for the TeamPages blog when it comes to tutorials, FAQ's and fun product updates. Derek also finds it incredibly awkward to write in the 3rd person like this.
